Aspen (Boo Boo) Free, What A Fan Awards Amazing Kids Fan Nominee

Say hello to Aspen "Boo Boo" Free, 2015 What A Fan Awards Amazing Kids Fan Nominee. She is a very happy and passionate Oregon Ducks fan and the passion runs in the family. It is very exciting to us to see these young kids as passionate about sports as the adults. The opportunity to share positive sportsmanship, respect and inclusiveness among all fans is awesome.

Sports fans have been an important part of the explosive success both collegiate and professional athletics has enjoyed. In 2013 a recognition award show was created to honor fans and their contribution to the sports industry it's called the What A Fan Awards. Its been held in Orlando Florida but will be relocated to Los Angeles California in 2016. Over the coming weeks we're going to introduce you to some of the countries most devoted fans of all genres of sports  in their own words.


How long have you been a fan? 

Since I was little, about 7yrs.

Tell us why you should be selected winner in this category?

I like football. I like the Ducks. My Grandpa would really like it.

What triggered your passion for sports?

My Grandpa and Grandma. He is "Grateful Duck" 

Favorite sports moment?

Going to the games with Grandpa and Grandma and staying in Eugene.

Who would you like to meet?

"The Duck" He is really cool. 

What charitable programs are you involved with?

Church programs.

How does your family feel about your passion for sports?

Everybody likes it but my dad. He is a Beaver. 


How was your character created?

Grandma made it. Grandpa bought the jersey.

What would winning the What A Fan Awards mean to you?

It would be so awesome. I could show it to everyone. Every kid at school would be jealous.
