Sports fans have been an important part of the explosive success both collegiate and professional athletics has enjoyed. In 2013 a recognition award show was created to honor fans and their contribution to the sports industry it's called the What A Fan Awards. Its been held in Orlando Florida but will be relocated to Los Angeles California in 2016. Over the coming weeks we're going to introduce you to some of the countries most devoted fans of all genres of sports in their own words.

Why should you be selected winner in this category?
I started the only organized Saints fan club with emphasis on charity.
What triggered your passion for sports?
As a kid I always played sports and had a passion for the Saints.
Favorite sports moment?
When Steve Gleason blocked the punt against Atlanta in the Dome after hurricane Katrina.
Who would you like to meet and why?
I would like to meet anyone who would sit down and listen to what my goals and intentions are for the fan club. We could help so many people if I just had the chance to get it in front of the right people.
What charitable programs are you involved with?
Make a Wish.
How does your family feel about your passion for sports?
They enjoy it too, it's a family affair.
How important is it for you to have an Award Show for fans?
It is very important, us fans are involved day after day and week after week. I give everything I have to provide a great fan club for the Who Dat Nation.
What would winning the Award Show mean to you?
It would be awesome, talk about a moment of fandom success!
